INIIT
is involved in the following main activities:

Conducting
cutting-edge collaborative research work in ICTs

Commissioning and carrying out R&D work in the general area of
ICTs and business systems and solutions.

Carrying out consultancy work in key areas ICTs including: computer
and communications system analysis, specification, design and implementation
for client organizations.

Software
and information systems design, development, implementation for client
institutions and organizations.

Carrying out consultancy work in the general area of national ICT
policy and plan development.

The development, administration, management and provision of training
programs, seminars and workshops in ICTs.

Entering into agreements with other membership institutions, organizations
and individual faculty member of INIIT to jointly carryout consultancy
and R&D in the general area of ICTs.

Entering into agreements with other membership institutions, and organizations
to jointly develop, administer and/or provide training and educational
programs, seminar and workshop materials in the broad area of ICTs.
The
Framework for Institutional Partnership Arrangement -- (FIPA)TM
The
Framework for Institutional Partnership Arrangement (FIPA)TM
is based on a unique service-oriented partnership concept developed by
INIIT. The Institute's partnership and collaborative activities with other
institutions and organizations and are organized within the structure
of (FIPA)TM.
This
institutional partnership framework provides INIIT with the necessary
collaborative framework within which it enters into partnership arrangements
and other types of special institutional relationships and agreements
with INIIT membership institutions and organizations worldwide. Furthermore,
(FIPA)TM also serve as a collaborative framework for INIIT and
a number of cooperating organizations and institutions to jointly compete
for international tenders for ICT-related consultancy work, which the
participating partners execute by pooling their resources.

Framework
for Research Initiatives Partnership --- (FRIP)TM
INIIT
also pioneered the concept of (FRIP)TM - Framework for Research
Initiatives Partnership; within which globally based researchers, academics
and consultants collaborate on a number of research initiatives using
the Internet as the key communication media.(FRIP)TM
therefore serves as a framework for research initiative partnerships within
which INIIT coordinates the research efforts of a number of geographically
spread researchers who are members of the Institute.
